Our Privacy Promise

SmallTextGen is designed to be private by default. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. You don’t need to create an account, provide an email address, or give us any data to use the tool. The text you type is processed entirely within your browser and never sent to any server.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal information: We don’t collect names, email addresses, or any identifying data.
• Text input: The text you type into our generator stays in your browser’s memory. It is never transmitted, stored, or logged.
• Usage analytics: We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracking service.
• Cookies: We do not set any first-party cookies. The only data stored is in your browser’s localStorage (your last platform choice and text), which never leaves your device.
• IP addresses: Our hosting provider (Vercel) may process IP addresses for routing and security purposes as part of standard CDN operations. We do not log or access this data.

Local Storage

SmallTextGen uses your browser’s localStorage to remember two preferences:

• Platform preference: Which platform you selected (e.g., Instagram, Discord). This is stored as “stg_platform”.
• Last text: The last text you typed, so it’s restored when you return. This is stored as “stg_text”.

This data is stored exclusively in your browser and is never sent to any server. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for small-text-gen.com.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services for infrastructure:

• Vercel: Hosting and CDN. Vercel may process request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security and performance monitoring. See Vercel’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts: We load the Outfit and JetBrains Mono fonts. Google may receive request data when fonts are loaded. For privacy-conscious users, the site functions normally without fonts loaded.

We do not embed any advertising networks, social media widgets, or third-party scripts beyond what is listed above.

Children’s Privacy

SmallTextGen is a general-audience tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on our blog. Since we collect no user data, we cannot notify users directly of changes.
